Laboratory
The laboratory is based within the hospital and features the following:
Hematology: FBCs, ESR, Sickle Cell, Blood Grouping, Peripheral Smear, Malaria RDT, MPs, Differential Count, CD4—CD4%, CD4
Chemistry: U&Es, LFTs, RBS, Uric Acid, Amylase, Magnesium, Phosphorus, CSF Total Protein and Glucose, Bence Jones Protein
Microbiology: Microscopy, Culture, and Sensitivity testing for Pus Swabs, Body Aspirates, CSF, Urine, Urinalysis, and Stool.
Serology: RPR, TPHA, HIV, Pregnancy Test, Hepatitis Screen, ASOT, ANA, H. pylori, Rheumatoid Factor, CSF & Serum CrAg, TB Lam, Herpes Simplex Virus
Viral Load: Viral Load
TB: MTB Testing for Aspirates, Stool, CSF, and Sputum, ZN Stain, DNA-PCR, GeneXpert Viral Load and Covid PCR.
Referred Tests: Sputum for Microscopy and culture, all cytology samples, histology samples, and virology samples. Also DDR samples for Viral Load.
